Our Inspiration
Meet Amara.
Amara grew up tending her family's tomato farm in the hills of Rwanda. She lost her leg as a child. Every evening she'd watch snowboarders on her phone β that mix of speed and freedom β and quietly let the dream go.
Then she heard about magnetic osseointegration: prosthetics responsive enough for dynamic sport. The technology existed. It cost $70,000 and was only available in Europe. For Amara, it might as well have been on another planet.
MagnaStep was built for Amara. And for the thousands like her across Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya whose aspiration has always been bigger than their access.
